In 2009 I participated in mapping out recreation areas. The term universal designs had arrived as a new direction back then. There was still no standard for what the term was going to imply. But one still had to start somewhere. I was also on a trip
to Samsjøen in Midtre Gauldal, and on a long roadtrip towards Førde in Sogn og Fjordane.
Yes, we live in a beautiful country. The car radio was on, randomly playing Ulf Lundel’s “Öppna landskap” while
we drove. You can listen to it here. It contributed to making the experience even better. There really are good reasons for taking good care of Norway’s beautiful nature. It really
is something which should be appreciated. Owing to a creative assistant, my own car, my own ability to organize, a good hotel with a helpful personnel at the Scandic Sunnfjord Hotel & Spa, and cooperative assistants here at home, I was able to complete the trip.
